The rules of the house
Hiding
Nine hiding spots: under the bed, under the streaming desk, the wardrobe, behind the couch, the bath,
the kitchen pantry, the garage locker, the big merch crate and the bathroom cabinet. If he watched you climb in,
he will come and open it — break line of sight first.
Working him
He wears a headset, so his eyeline is a tunnel and it takes him a moment to register you. Walls muffle sound —
he can't hear you through a shut door the way he can down an open corridor. Every 60 seconds or so he goes back
to the desk to stream for a quarter of a minute; that's your window, and you'll hear the alert.
Throwing a can is the best tool you have. Land one in another room and he commits to it. Doors work too: shut one
behind you and he has to fumble it open, which costs him a second and tells you exactly where he is.
He patrols in VR, so his eyeline is narrow — but sound carries. Sprinting, slamming things, knocking over
his energy-drink pyramid and tripping over cable spaghetti all put a marker on the map, and he walks straight to it.
Get caught and you lose a day, not your stuff. Everything you already unlocked stays unlocked. Lose all five days
and you are legally part of the channel.
